  The mid-1960s were legendary in dirt track history. That was a time when, unlike today, most of the greatest drivers in America competed in the USAC Midget, Sprint Car, and Champ Car divisions. The races were thrilling wheel to wheel battles with legends like Foyt, Jones, Hurtubise, Branson, Ward, Marshman, Rutherford, and McClusky battling for the wins. We have photographs of most of these great stars in action, in cars and a type of racing, that will never be seen again.
